Faith That Makes Room For Someone Else

Isaiah 43:2 (KJV)“When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee.”

Some of the most comforting words come from someone who has walked through a hard season herself. She may not have an answer for everything. She can sit beside you and say, “I know this is difficult. God was with me, and He is with you too.”Perhaps you are the one who needs that encouragement today.

You do not have to be strong every moment. Let a trusted friend pray with you, listen to you, or simply keep you company. Receiving care is part of walking through the fire. And when someone else needs a place to sit, remember what God has carried you through.

Your story does not need a perfect ending before it can offer hope. A gentle word and a faithful presence may help someone recognize that they are not alone.

Prayer for today:

Lord, thank You for staying with me through every hard season. Send me encouragement when I need it, and help me offer that same kindness to someone else. Amen.
